Day Care Centre de Kattekop and Leiden University
In a number of agreements with the Leiden University de Kattekop has established that the 50 day care places are intended exclusively for staff and students of Leiden University. One of the parents or guardians has to be a student or member of staff of Leiden University or of an institution affiliated to the University.
At the initiative of Leiden University de Kattekop Childcare Foundation was established in 1980. It is one of the oldest childcare centres in Leiden
The childcare centre has two baby groups and two toddler groups. Each baby group has nine children aged between 8 weeks and 2 years, and each toddler group has a maximum of sixteen children aged from 1 ½ years to 4 years.
Placement is a minimum of two days a week.
